is this really Herpes ? help needed please !!

sorry i posted this earlier in the STD forum , didnt knew it was the wrong one .

hi all , recently i have worrying a lot , here it goes ,

on Nov 13 , after some drinks i had unprotected oral ( didnt ejaculated ) from a stripper ,
and once i tried to insert my penis inside her vagina ( unprotected ) but only went in for a little bit
before i got sobered and pulled it out ( inserted only like half of the penis head ) .

three days later , i have this small round ulcer looking thing , a little pus filled in the middle (ulcer)
and redness on the side , it was on my penis head , it did hurt a little when contacted .

nine days past and its still there , i have been worrying so much and sometimes i dont feel well ,
throat felt dry and experience some tenderness on my inner thighs and *** when i touched it ,
also just a slight bit of itching somedays , these symptoms usually go away the next day .

finally went to my GP to check it out , 23 Nov .
he said that it could be Syphilis or a Herpes infection , but didnt gave me any med ,
took my blood for test .
the worrying thing started the next day , i saw two red painless patches on my inner uncircumsized skin ,
one looks really smooth and the other slightly raised , but no ulcers blisters or anything , and dont hurt at all .
the next day the smooth one just turned into a red spot , and the other kind of even down , just looks slightly red .
i worry so much everyday , and went to visit a STD clinic on the 26 nov , 2 weeks after the sexual encounter .
by the way the GP result was out in the same day , got negative for HSV 1 and 2 , HIV and other STDs .
i do know that the tests arent reliable though since it was at the early stages .

surprisingly , the ulcer on the penis head looked like it was healing , becoming small and dont hurt anymore .
but the red patches/spots are still on my penis skin .
the STD clinic took tests and the doc say that it might be sign of Herpes and prescribed me Acyclvoir for 7 days .
along with a Acyclvoir 5% ointment .
already four days into the treatment , the ulcer seemed to be getting better each day but the
red patches/spots DIDNT ! in fact it looked like it got worse cause for some days i wake up and find new
red patches/spots on the skin , especially on the uncircumsized skin connecting to the penis head .
but they all dont hurt , just red and dont have open ulcers , not raised or anything .
theres a few days i feel uneasiness down below , like warm
and theres one day my lower right abdomen hurts when i touch it .
i am really worried cause supposedly its Herpes , Acyclvoir is a fast acting effective med and should actually
be making my condition significantly better right ?
how come them red patches still come out and actually look worse than initially ?
could i have other STDs instead of Herpes ? or together with Herpes ?

i am really freaking out everyday , not knowing the exact problem ,
and test results will only be back in a weeks time .

i know its long , but please advice .

red spot is almost gone , almost skin color already .
still some flaking of scrotum and slight redness sometimes , it comes and goes .

advices ?

oh and i forget to mention , for the last week or so ,

there was a couple of times , whereby the testicles look red ,
but dont really itch much , and theres skin flaking off them .

but it always get better after a bath
and the skin looks normal again the next morning .

thanks Grace , another question .

so now all i can do is wait and then take my
Herpes blood tests along with others when it come .
the ulcer on the penis head is already totally healed up long ago .
nothing new on the penis head .

but the red smooth 'spot' on my inner skin is still there after a month ?
no pain or anything , and not raised .
the color seems to be getting lighter with each passing day and thats it ,
sometimes it darkens a bit , sometimes lighter .
basically no change at all for a month .

best i can described it is as small blood vessels busting ,
under the skin and not above .
theres also two other very small red dot that appeared nearby , same thing .
really tiny like just a pen dot size .

might those spots not be Herpes ?
since theres no changes at all .
could it be Fungal infections , male yeast Infection perhaps ?

you won't get the same sort of "scab" on the genital area as you do say your knee. scabbing refers to the stages of healing, not forming an obvious scab like on other body parts.  

you need to wait 3 months post encounter for type specific herpes igg blood testing to be done.

i got back my results , negative for HSV ( swab culture test )
and negative for the other STDs like Chlyamdia , Gonorrea ( urine test ) .

the doctor told me to monitor my situation and will be going back in
a month's time for the type specific HSV blood test .

i know it is still early to tell yet , but i am definitely feeling a bit more relieved .
the ulcer has also almost fully recovered .

Grace i would like to ask , the ulcer jut kept getting smaller and smaller in size
and almost like normal healthy skin now ,
i read that herpes ulcers usually scab over and then heal .
but theres no scabbing or anything , just slowly closing it seems ,
it is possible it might be some other problems instead of Herpes ?

also , the red smooth spot on the inner skin that i mentioned
hasnt changed at all , still there , no ulcer and painless after two weeks ?
might look lighter now though .

ulcer is about eight to nine days after it appeared .
the red spot about four days , it only appeared some time after the ulcer .

if I"m understanding your time line properly, your lesion culture was done about 10 days into things right?  if so, odds are it will come back negative. at this point nothing to do but continue to follow up with your provider as needed for your symptoms and get herpes igg blood testing at the 3 month post encounter mark.

also , i forgot to add in .

it has been almost a month since the ulcer appeared .
although its getting better , its still there .

plus the painless tiny red spot ( no change in size , big or small )
on the shaft is still there after two weeks .

i've already completed the whole week course of Acyclvoir a week plus ago .
is there a chance that this means it might not be Herpes afterall ,
and something else ?
i know its hard to just speculate now , but ??

guess i'll be going back on the second month provided theres no
positive STD results i'll be getting back this week .

and i would like to ask , since blood tests for Herpes are usually done 3 months
after exposure to be confirm , what about the swab tests ?

the doc there took a swab test i assumed ( was also printed on the receipt )
he took this thing and put some water on the ulcer ,
and he swabbed the area few times .

swab tests are usually reliable if viruses are still on the ulcers right ?

no I do not advise retesting at the 1 month mark. not worth it.

i did stopped using the cream for two days , cause i found out
that them patches only appear on places where i applied them .
the redness are gone and almost normal right now .

the open ulcer is getting better day by day .

completed one week of the med course , and results should be out in a weeks time .

it might be early but do you advice me to take them tests again at the one month mark if everything comes back negative ?
or should i go on the second , or just the third conclusive month like mentioned ?
please advice , cause the anxiety is killing me .
the thought of worrying for two more months is killing me .

actually no acyclovir doesn't work that fast. also I'd stop using the acyclovir ointment. it's relatively ineffective on genital herpes lesions to begin with plus you might be having a reaction to it.  

at this point repeat your herpes igg blood testing 3 months after the encounter along with your syphilis testing. both were done too early though typically lesion cultures are more accurate for syphilis on open cancre's than herpes lesion cultures are.  

if your red rash areas aren't better in a week, return to your provider for further evaluation. You are more likely to have contracted a fungal infection than you were a std from this encounter.

also fyi - ejaculation has nothing to do with std risk.

yup they took swabs and sent it for tests .
yea and the Herpes are tested with the IGG method .

All you can do now is just wait until you can test again (fews weeks post encounter)..  Dont worry too much about the symptoms..you might freak yourself out for no reason... All u can do is get tested again and see what happens.  Make sure you are properly tested with an IGG Type Specific test.  Did the doctor take any cultures/swabs of the infected area?  

Try not to stress too bad.. if it is herpes, it sucks but its manageable... and if its syphillis, its curable! .... cut it out with the strippers! come on!  good luck

i would like to add that them red patches comes and go .
and always seemed the worse in the morning when i wake up .

then after a while , the redness will go down on some places ,
sometimes it may even disappear , but to reappear on other days .

also , after bathing , when the area is dry and all ,
upon frequent inspection , the skin on my shaft looks
really really dry ( even those with the red spots ) ,
almost like crackling dry .
