first, i'm 13 weeks pregnant, and with my pregnancy has come a lot of vaginal dryness... and i'm suffering from my hormones making me horny all the time... so me and my boyfriend had some serious amounts of sex in a 2 day span, and we both became red and in pain and a few bumps... it hurt me more than him (lucky me) but we both went to our doctors, his doctor said it doesnt look like herpes to him at all, just lay off the sex.
i go to a clinic because its covered by my medicaid. the doctor i saw that day almost made me cry. "idk how you could let yourself get this bad, its so irritated... i think you have herpes." swabs the 'sores' as she called them, had them sent to see if i had herpes. then she writes me a prescription, tells me it'll only be $10, i need to start taking it because of the herpes... the herpes we're not conclusive i have yet.
i go to fill the prescription, turns out is a $76 and change medication. i cant afford it in the least so i didnt get it. i went back to the clinic today expecting to get my results... they tell me nothing about it. only ask if i am taking the medication for my herpes... WHAT?!?!? apparently this doctor wrote on my chart that i have it. not that i'm being tested for it. i refuse to take meds for something that idk if i have... especially since i'm pregnant.
i really want a second opinion. because i looked up what herpes looks like... mine looked nothing like it... my irritation didnt last one third of the time its said an outbreak lasts... but the doctor had it made up in her mind that i have it, and nothing can change her mind.
does this sound right to anyone? or does it sound impractical? please give me your opinion.
