lumps around my vagina

Hi, i have already booked into having a test done early next week but i am so worried i wanted some more advice.
I have just split from my boyfriend of 1 1/2 years after he was seeing other people as well as me, i was devastated and broke up with him straight away and went to be checked out because of him sleeping with other people, it came back negative and i was delighted.
About a month after i was with a close friend and very upset and one thing led to another and we ended up having unprotected sex which is something i would never normally do, afterwards we agreed never to do it again and forget about it and i was tested again, again it came back negative.
About 3 weeks ago i bumped into someone i had been seeing for about 4 months before me ex, we had slept together once because i am so untrusting of males and he had to move away and we didnt see each other again. we started texting again and went out on a few dates and everything seemed to be going fine.
Last week i was out with a friend and i lost her and he was out, he said i could stay with him and his friends rather than go home on my own, i dont remember anything after this point apart from waking up in his house with him ontop of me having really rough unprotected sex, i started crying straight away and told him to stop, eventually he did and i left his house and went straight home and havent spoken to him since.
However a few days later i noticed a bump on the outer lip of my vagina and initially thought it was an ingrowing hair as i regularly shave my pubic hair, i had never had one before and so tried to pull the hair out which i thought i had done, it became painful but the bump became smaller and i thought it would disappear on its own, yesterday though i noticed three more bumps appear, they are smaller than the first one and arent painful (however the first one is since i have picked it), one is shiny and and about 1mm its got a grayish colour to it but doesnt pop or seem to have any pus in it.
I started to look on the internet and saw herpes and now i think i may have it and im so worried.
I have had a cough for about a week before this happened and i read that this could have something to do with catching it. I dont have any other symptoms but now i dont know if im being paranoid or not but i seem to have a numb feeling in my buttocks. do you think it could be herpes or are there other causes for this type of thing.
thanks

did they mention if your cervix looked red and irritated?  that can cause some bleeding as well as just irritation of your vagina from infection can also cause some too.

also forgot to mention that because i have suffered form anorexia since the age of 11 (im now 23) i have really irregular periods, i am at a normal stable weight at the moment for the first time in my life but still dont get a regular cycle, they did say though that there seemed to be some blood spotting and asked if i had noticed anything which i hadnt, if this another symptom to look at?
sorry to be such a pain but everything i have looked at tells me different and i wasnt able to ask many questions today as they was very busy

yeast and bv can both causes rashes. at this point waiting for your test results to come back is the best you can do.

did they give you vaginal treatment for the yeast and bv or pills for both?

did they also give you herpes antivirals ?

thank you for your help, i went to the clinic today and it didnt go that great
they said that i am positive for a yeast infection called bacteria vaginosis and that by looking at the lesions it is herpes, they have taken some blood and swabs and told me to go back in two weeks.
i know this sounds stupid but even though they say it looks like it could be herpes could there be a chance it is anything to do with the yeast infection?
all of a sudden my life feels completely over and i cant speak to anyone about it im just so worried about having to tell someone because i know the way i would have probably been on hearing it from someone and i do feel bad because there is worse things to happen to people but i just dont know what i am going to do any more
they wasn't particularly helpful and just gave me a leaflet and some tablets and now i am so confused she just told me to take it that i have it from what she has seen, is this right?

Isn't it funny how that goes?? We all can do it from time to time. Get a group of people in a room and say that one had head lice and before you know it, most will swear that their head is itchy! The power of suggestion is a strong thing :-)

Yes, there could be other causes, as Grace stated above.

Best advice is to stay off the net - good info but plenty of bad too! And, it will only feed your anxiety. Hopefully you'll get some answers soon once you're seen and examined/tested.

the best thing to do at this point is to be seen and get a proper exam done today or tomorrow. They can also test you for yeast and bacterial infections vaginally as well as gonorrhea and chlamydia.

How long after your partners did you wait for all your std testing?  do you know if herpes testing was included with that testing - it typically is not?
