herpes - toilet paper?

good day and apology for the details (dont eat and read this at once ;) )
it appears that exact data about herpes is elusive:

question:
went to my company's toilet.
suddenly my nose was running
and i took a piece of toilet paper to wipe my nose
i think i rolled it before pulling so i wont by any chance get a dirty piece
and i know it was not dirty or wet

but what if a person with herpes did he's thing then touched it with he's hand
then after a few minutes my nose touched it? will the virus survive that long?
