can irritation be herpes?

I felt itchiness after the 4th day of unprotected sex,  then it whent away, then irritation/burning/ti gling sensation started and lasted for 2 months. It does not hurt when I use the restroom or when I have sex. Is it possible that this can be herpes?
Thank you

Thank you, I have had the tingling sensation twice and no sores have developed. I know odds are not any way of detecting these kind of things, but what are the odds that one can get herpes from a condome breaking, exposure of seconds, and what are the odds of getting herpes if the other person did not have any present sores or lesions?

Hi, no it does not. Tingling is  referred to  as Prodome and is more for those that all ready have herpes and can be used as a tool predicting a pending outbreak. Tingling should not last more than a few days before a sore develops.
Since your sexually active you might want to have a herpes test just to confirm your status for the protection of future partners.
