please help me out, about hsv2

here is my story.
i am half american, born and lived in japan.last year, i had a gf, and i had sex with her several times(5 or 6), every time i use condom because she says she donot wanna be pregnant.one day,we had a shower together, i noticed blister on her vaginal.then she told me that she got hsv2 from her ex. i freaked out,i stop dating with her, i stop going out with friends, i stop talking with my family.
12 weeks after the last time we had sex, i got a blood test for hsv2 igg, is neg, 0.25. 16 weeks i had re-test, the result is still neg,0.2.but i am still worried , cause i donot think japan got herpeselect which produced by usa, maybe they use something else to do the test and misses. and also i read that a small proportion of folks donot prodcued detectable antibodys even after one year , and i am afraid i was one of them.
so how can i get peace of mind. since i live in japan, i have no access to WB.
any replay is appreciated!

You have absolutely no reason to doubt the test you have received which I would suggest is a high standard ELISA performed  to exacting standards. You are negative almost no doubt. You only had a few instances of protected intercourse. For people who are infected in the first year of being with an infected partner, it takes an average of 40 sexual episodes before it occurs, and this is for the 5% or so of males to which this happens.

1. There is no reason to believe that the ELISA testing for herpes in Japan is inferior to that in the US for example. The test is reliable, you are negative.
2. No, you would have to have a significant immune deficiency issue not to produce detectible antibodies.
3. Racial background is no issue, the tests are universal.

You are clearly negative, you've had no symptoms and no sign in your blood of antibodies.

2.is there an possibility that i am one of few who do not produce detectable antibody?
3.i am an usa-japan mixed, will that effect the test?
