these are not herpes symptoms you have. no reason to still be thinking herpes as a cause.
at this point, the dermatologist should probably do a skin biopsy to look for better answers since none of your medications are working. also sometimes the medications themselves can cause these symptoms so if they haven't helped at this point, perhaps just a barrier cream like aquaphor to the areas that itch several times a day would be a good idea to help soothe and protect the skin. sometimes you irritate the skin so much, it becomes a non-stop irritation that doesn't clear easily :(
Thank you Grace. Just such strange timing. Does this indicate anything or help? :
I also for the first time in a while ALMOST engaged in sexual activity last night. We kissed and I became eroused. When I did my penile head felt like there was too much blood rushing to it (it hurt and was uncomfortable with a slight stinging feeling inside). Like it was inflamed or something though it doesn't appear to be inflamed or red other than those faint spots I mentioned before. Then after it went down (my erection) when I stopped it (since I wouldn't dare risk giving this to someone if it's what I have; or anything else for that matter) it started to itch again. itching isn't as bad this am but still present. Need help.
you probably did initially have a fungal infection and now the skin is just overly irritated.
I think you are overly focused on your genitals at this point too. no reason to think you have anything you could transmit to anyone else.
Also I woke up with little areas of broken skin this AM. They do not itch or hurt, but I am unsure if this is from the "dry humping" or could be my first real sign of herpes (lesions)
any thoughts?

really, not everything is herpes dear!!!
If those are from the last 48 hours and you should go straight to a doctor and have them swabbed. If positive then you won't have to wait 4 months for the blood test to find out.
