prevention of HSV 1 spreading

i have recently been diagnosed with genital HSV 1. Of which i recieved from my partner who has oral HSV 1. here are a few question:

1. since i recieved the virus from her orally, and now we both have the virus, is there a possibility that it can spread to me orally through kissing? or do we both have some sort of immunity to it. she never had cold sores when the virus was transferred initially so that is why im curious about kissing.

2. we would like to continue to have a healthy sex life so, if she performs oral sex on me can it cause the symptoms to reappear? or does that totally depend on my body/immune system now that i have the virus?

unless you get obvious cold sores to know it, no way to know if you also contracted hsv1 orally or not. what few studies we do have on this show anywhere from 1/4 to 2/3's of folks who have hsv1 genitally, also have it orally.  If you don't have it orally are you likely to get it now orally? no you are not. You have protection against contracting hsv1 on other body parts now.

No, her performing oral on you is not an issue.
