risk of cotracting genital herpes ORALLY

its been 3 weeks since i have been exposed to genital herpes through unprotected oral contact and i have not received any initial outbreak.  i did not get any fluid filled blisters, fevers, pain, nothing that seemed to be what i have ben researching.  however yesterday i was eating salty chips nd they cut my mouth up [at least i HOPE it was them that did it]. i am afraid i contracted genital herpes in my mouth and just do not have symptoms.  i am going for a test but i am very concerned about my chances of contracting genital herpes orally.  what are my chances that i contracted herpes through oral contact for only 1-2 mins [i am a woman that gave oral sex to a man who has it]. since he broke out soon after, what is my risk?

If you have new symptoms, be seen today or tomorrow and have them swabbed. Your regular doctor can deal with this, this isn't an issue for your gyn since it's not your nether regions that are the problem.

You've had cracks before, why think herpes now that you have them again?

now i developed a cold sore on the left corner of my mouth.  can this be hsv1?  i know ive posted question about this before and i greatly appreciate you answering again.  ive made a gyn appt for jan 14th (earliest date) nd theyr going to send me to a place for bloodwork (because i know i dnt have anythin down anywhere), but now that i have a cold sore on the corner of my mouth my hope has went down.  i have gotten cracks in my mouth in the past, but im worried once again, but i have read its unlikely to get hsv2 in the mouth.  what is goin on?  thank you so much again.

you already know you were eating chips and these symptoms occurred soon afterwards. It's time to stop worrying about herpes if you haven't had symptoms at this point.
