second test results for hsv2
Hello y'all its me again so today I got my result from my second test. On my first test vales were as follows hsv1 8.0 and hsv2 2.9 second one six months after hsv1 8.0 & hsv2 3.2. I have not haf an OB well i have not notice anything. I know the second test still a low positive however my value increased I am seruously thinking about giving up and believe I am hsv2 +.
If your lab tests states that any number above 1.2 is positive and youve had now 3 test showing positive that would be conclusive and no futher testing needed.
Hello I have a question . I have been reading about hsv testing . is it true that every lab reports index values differently. I have gotten all 3 from sonoran lab corp.

Can I get a cold sore inside my mouth? My cold sores I get them externally once a year on my lower or upper lip they do not hurt however they do itch, its tingles and its super swollen. I have a canker sore well that what it looks like to me. it looks like a white spot since day one. It did not have puss in it
Cold sores are on the lips and could be herpes related, canker are on the inside and are not herpes related as a general rule.
Is there a guy to differentiate a canker sore and cold sore inside the mouth? I talked to a doctor yesterday over at teladoc I don't know if you are familiar with it. Anyways he told me that cold sores and canker sores are the Same type of virus and its caused by hsv1. Do you happen to know of that's true? I have been doing my research and the info it's a little conflicting. So I do not know what to believe?
Yes it would appear in the last year. Since its still low have the Western Blot for final confirmation.
Meaning I was just infected with in the last year or so? So should I just give up and believe I'm hsv2+.
Yes with 2 positives for hsv it would certainly appear that your hsv1 is old and hsv2 is more recent.
