self innoculaton

I have had herpes in my nose for several years. Now it is on my face and backside.
How can I prevent spreding this further?
How do I bathe and wash my face without it spreading?
Feeling paralized to touch myself anywhere and do not want to wash myself.

so you tested + for hsv1 like most adults do.   really no reason to suspect that all these areas of rashes are due to hsv1. At this point, you need to be seen every time you have your rashes to find out what is going on. if they suspect herpes as a cause of anything not on your lip, nose or chin area, they need to be doing lesion cultures to confirm that indeed they are.
