NO. of course not. thanks for the info. i just read that if you are having oral sex w your partner during/after the virus is passed on that it's possible to get hsv2 orally. and then i got concerned cuz coincidentally her sores started around the same time frame that i got hsv2 (genital...tho no visible sores) from my ex. i worried htat if i DID get it orally as well as genitally that she might have gotten it b/c sometimes i'd catch her accidentally using my toothbrush or sipping from my water bottles. anyuway, i'm rambling...thanks again.
It would be hsv1, unless she had oral to genital contact with you, which I would seriously hope hasn't happened.

i also read that if cold sores from hsv2 would not recur. she has had them a few times so far, so i'm really hoping that hers are due to hsv1.
