first off - what results is .16? Is it a combined hsv test or was it specifically a hsv1 igg or a hsv2 igg? If you aren't sure, contact the clinic you were tested and ask them.

yeah, what jay said. anything less than .90 is a solid negative for herpes, but for those results to be conclusive, it needs to have been at least 12 weeks since your possible exposure. anything less than that and it may be too soon for the blood test to be accurate.
That means the test was entirely negative for herpes....you're good as long as it has been a few months since possible exposure.
