Shed some light

I often get this tingling feeling in my leg but my sight of infection is on my penis.  Is this normal?

I guess I'm asking is "Does the blisters have to appear where your prodromal symptoms are?"

I answered this in your other thread.

Lets pick one and stick to it.

Sorry about the repost Aj but as I stated earlier I am having multiple outbreaks in a months time.  Let me state the history:  I had first noticed symptome on Feb. 2, 2008 and it went on to Mar. 16, 2008.  My next visible outbreak did not come until May 12 with two blisters and a week later more appeared.  After that episode, on June 6 I had an outbreak that was over by June 15 and on June 20 another out break started and healed by July 4. Now as of today July 22 I have yet another outbreak.  I have had two hsv igg tests and my first results were HSV 1 2.5 and HSV 2 (.5), this was done in Feb.  My second test was done in June and it was HSV 1 2.6 and HSV 2 (1.3).  Having herpes is not a big deal but I want to be clear about the matter since my doctors are only dealing in absolute.

1)    Is this typical of Herpes?
2)    Would my antibodies be building that slowly over the period of 4 months?
3)    Do u think I should retest for the Hsv 2 again?

I answered this in your other thread.  Lets keep all your questions to this one.

One ob per month is even considered a lot, unless you mean you have two sores at one time.  That would be considered one outbreak.

one more thing I want to mention.  I heard that a person should only experience on outbreak per month, but I have two outbreaks.  Is this normal?

Sure - the skin is healing.  As long as that disappears or fades over time, you are fine.

Yes miss.  And also is it normal for the lesion area to look bruised after an outbreak? Such a rug burn or such...

If it's only happening a day or two before an ob or the first day or so of the recurrence then I'd assume that's your prodromal. If you aren't on suppressive therapy - start a round of episodic therapy as soon as you start having those leg pains. If you are on suppressive therapy, up your dose when you feel that particular pain. Also don't hesitate to take advil or aleve too when it starts.

Does that make sense?

it only happens before and that's it...also, does all the prodromal symptoms appear or some at any given time before breakouts?

Also if you want to get technical about it - the site of your infection is your sacral nerve ganglia. The site of your lesions is your penis .

Does the leg tingling only appear right before or during a herpes ob or does it occur in between too?
