transmission question
I am a female who recently got tentatively diagnosed w hsv2 and had brief unprotected sex with no symptoms or signs of outbreak. I am terrified that I might have passed it on and was wondering what the risk would be to my partner. I know that there is asymptomatic shedding but I can't find any real answers.
so you were seen and were visually diagnosed as having genital herpes but no testing was done? how long ago was this? were you given any medication for herpes? did they also test for anything else?
this just happened. i haven't got tested yet, just had what appeared to be an initial outbreak.
