worried about genital warts

Hi guys,
I stupid went to a massage parlor about one month ago and had protected sex and received unprotected oral sex. Now I am so worried about getting genital warts in unprotected area (e.g. scrotum). Is there anyway to test for genital warts in latent period? Can I still have sex with my girl friend? What should I beware of? pls help~~~

thank you

At the very least you should tell your girlfriend, so that she can make the decision for herself. I have found condoms do not protect you against acquiring this virus. More so than genital warts, you should be concerned about having contracted a high risk strain of hpv and posing the threat of cervical cancer to your girlfriend. This stuff is no fun.

Currently, there is no FDA approved test for men to diagnose hpv... The only way you'll know about it by seeing a wart... condoms can only protect upto 70% from hpv transmission... stop worrying about it, it is the most common virus that affects more than 80% of the population... there are no serious health issues for men having hpv...
