Hi,
I'm a 33 year old male from Australia and I was diagnosed with Genital Warts (HPV 6) two weeks ago. I had three tiny (1mm) warts removed from my penis shaft and scotum by cryosurgery.
I had the warts for approx. two months before realizing what they were, and prior to that had not had sex for four months - making it six months in total since having sex.
What I'd like to know is the probability of more warts returning (I currently lead a healthy life with plenty of exercise, no smoking and very little alcohol), and how long it'd realistically be before I could expect to be clear of HPV?
Also, I plan to use condoms every time I have sex from now on, but what are the chances of passing on HPV to someone now that the warts are removed (presuming they don't return)?
Is there any treatment you'd recommend to speed up the full clearance of HPV - I've come across a product called Gynotrol that sounds promising...
I was worried sick when I was first diagnosed but after finding your website, I'm dealing with the realization that I have HPV a lot better. Thankyou.
