Can I contract HPV from a partner whose last sex exposure was 18 months ago

Please help me with this.  I had sex 5 years ago TWICE (lasts for 5 minutes each) with a partner who hadn't have sex for 18 months, and  that was my first sexual exposure (I was 29). So he is my first partner and never ever had any kind of intercourse with any. He was 42 years and had 13 partners when he was 20..and his last sexual activity was 18 months before we got to had ours.
My Qs are:
1- He is certainly infected at one point of his life with HPV. But if he had no symptoms at all and his last exposure was 18 months before ours, is there a possibility that he got me infected? I read that after 6 months, most of HPV are not transmittable.
2- Why Im asking this is because I have cervix inflammation 2 months ago and the doctor assumed it is a BV and prescribed me antibiotics, but to no avail.. symptoms are only pale yellow discharge no smell at all...so then I tested for all STDS except HPV, and all came back negative...Maybe that is because of HPV? does it cause yellow discharge? no smell...please let me know ...

Infections from a one time event is rare but not impossible. 50% of all infected people have no symptoms. 90% of the infected are not infectious. No one knows who is in this 90% and who isn't. The high risk strains on men have no visible signs. Your symptoms do not have anything to do with HPV. Please get tested for HPV just to be sure.
