Can I still have a sexual relationship with my boyfriend

I have friends that had genital warts so would of known a bit about them. But being uneducated I assumed if you were to get them you got them very soon after the unprotected sex. I've been in a relationship for over a year with the most amazing guy. He's sexual past hasn't been much before me so I never worried about STD's or STI's. I've had unprotected sex (very little) in the past so definitely i could be open to something. I would get waxed so I assumed the little bumps around my anus wer from this and honestly thought they were skin tags. I decided to go to the doctor 2 days ago as I thought I had a pile and she told me they were going warts I cried from the minute she said it until that night. I couldn't stay in work I was so shocked and devastated. My boyfriend met me after I told him hysterical. He reassured me told me he loved me and it wasn't a bit deal at all. He seems to have no warts that we can see. I asked the doctor what will I do about having sex she said 'continue having it' i asked her what about my boyfriend what should he do he has no warts she said 'do nothing' I understand I'll get over the emotional side of this and myself and my boyfriend can't see eachother ever finishing. I've obviously had thia for months if not more so he must have it. Do we continue having sex as normal? I got them frozen when I was in. Please give me some advice I feel like I didn't get enough info from the doc

Your BF has what you have. Even if he doesn't show any warts, he has to assume he has it too.
