I have discoloration from using 17% Salycic Acid down there, will it go away?

Trying to keep this as short & informative as possible.

1. Male, been dealing with genital warts for 2 years. Caught virus as soon as it appeared & started seeing the Derm.

2. Should mention my warts have always appeared on the mid to lower part of shaft, & I only ever see 1-3 at a time. Very small.

3. Derm started with salycic acid which didn't work. Tried liquid nitrogen which I believe is cyro therapy? (they spray a really cold pinpoint blast out of a blowtorch looking thing.)
This worked.
The wart & just barely the area around it would get dark, & then scab & finally peel off in the shower 1-2 weeks later max, leaving a hardly noticeable white mark where the cyro blast was applied.

4. Have had maybe 3-5 of these cyro treatments over the course of the past 2 years. The warts go away, come back, it seems, less severe than the time before.

***Here's the f*** up

5. Fast forward to 3-4 days ago, I notice 2 little buggers in the middle of the mid-lower shaft area.
Having no insurance & really not being able to afford an office visit, I decided to pick up 17% salycic acid & treat them myself.

6. I applied acid to the 2 warts, & went about my day. Hours later, I go & peel off the white film that is created from the acid, which reveals dark spots. No biggie, I thought. This is normal.
Except I totally didn't JUST HIT THE WARTS.......

7. The warts are SO TINY compared to the now discolored areas affected by the acid.

8. This time just seems different & I'm freaking out. The discolored skin is completely smooth & does not seem to be starting to scab at all.
Just a penis with a couple dark spots. Ha.. Ha..

So basically, through all the cyro therapies & Derm applied acid treatments, it seemed my skin healed very quickly.  Scabbed & peeled off 1-2 weeks.
I just feel like I completely messed up & mangled my penis & these dark spots will never go away.

Is there any advice? Anything I can get to speed up the healing process? Will this discoloration go away in another week or so? Or ever?

Any advice truly appreciated.
