For life?

I have had visible warts on my penis for almost 1 year now. I suspect that I contracted the virus almost exactly 2 years ago.
I keep seeing that "90% of people's immune system will fight off the virus in the first two years".
Does this mean that if I still have warts after two years that I will have it for life?
Or can my immune system still fight it off?

I think the longest recorded case of HPV clearing was 10 years... but i think it pretty much always clears in a person with a healthy immune system.... I'm not sure though.

The "timeline" starts after diagnosis. Most people who fail to clear it in two years will still eventually get there.

It seems they would be gone within 2 years. Have you been diagnosed as having hpv genital warts? Or are you assuming?
