Gay young with rectal HPV warts (two surgeries) looking for help

Hi everyone. I'm in an urgent need of support and help of people who have experienced this HPV nightmare.

I am a 24 year old male from Spain and last march I was diagnosed with rectal warts (HPV type 11) . I went through surgery two times (june and july), and the second time I also grew some external ones. Just yesterday I had another follow up and my doctor burnt me what he thought it was a hypertrophied papillae with silver nitrate, but it's been 2 months already from the last surgery and he did not recognise any more warts.

As for myself, I have been dealing with extremely homophobic parents (they found it out in the worst way I had ever imagined), the boy I was dating for a year left me, and although I have a college degree and two years of experience already, I have stopped working and decided to study a master online for a year so I can physically and mentally recover from this nightmare. And I am living with very religious parents who have even tried to sign up conversion therapy.

MY QUESTIONS ARE:

- How long am I going to be struggling with warts? will they reappear?

- Why is there so little and contradictory info on the virus?

- Does the immune system eventually kill it or is it going to stay with me forever?

- What else can I do to get rid of it? (I am already taking multivitamin, garlic, echinacea, omega 3 and AHCC and trying to get my '**** together' with my anxiety attacks)

THANK YOU, I'd love to hear from people who went through the same. Is there still hope???

Joseph
