Genital Wart Misdiagnosis?

I recently had two lesions biopsied, one on my right labia minora and one on my left. The lesion on my right labia minora, came back as a "low-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion, mild squamous dysplasia, VIN1. Ulcer with granulation tissue and associated acute inflammation. The biopsy from my left labia minora, which was actually very small and not very wart like, came back simply as "Condyloma acuminatum with low-grade dysplasia (VIN1). I also had a pap come back with LSIL and I have a scheduled colpo for my cervix and vulva this week.
My question is, what are the chances that the condyloma was misdiagnosed? Obviously, I do not want genital warts, but the reason I am doubting the diagnosis is because if that was a wart, it did not look like one and I have not had any others. Also, in all of this testing I have not been told which strain(s) of HPV I actually even have. Another thing that makes me question the wart is that both lesions were in the same spot, just opposite sides of my vestibule. I don't want to continue living my life thinking that I have both high risk and low risk HPV if I really only have the high risk strain and the "wart" was misdiagnosed.

Hi there,
I'm not necessarily concerned about the dysplasia. I went to a women's cancer center and got the colpo done and a biopsy of my cervix. It came back as cin 1, so the doctor said that I shouldn't worry about anything and told me to schedule a pap with my regular obgyn 6 months from that time (back in may). What I am wondering is if what I actually had was genital warts or if it was just a lesion from the vin. The lesion that I had went away almost instantly after I put aldara on it for two nights and I never had any others to this day. I honestly do not think that it was genital warts. Especially because I was told and have read that they usually are multiple and grow to be quite visible?? Do you think the growth could have just been from the VIN and not a genital wart? None of my sexual partners ever had warts, still to this day and it has been way past the incubation period for all of them.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Biopsy findings are quite diagnostic for dysplasia and if the biospy report has come back positive for dysplasia then it is less likely to false positive. As suggested by your doctor, you should get a colposcopy done.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
