hey Maonmu,
I can only give you my opinion, it is always best to consult a medically licensed professional for help.
It is said that people who are immunocompromised, such as HIV patients, or people who have some other terminally ill disease are more likely to develop overt oral warts.
Now if you think about this, it means that a persons immune system is not at a optimal level for such a thing to occur, so that means that people still get the virus on the mouth but it is usually taken care of by a healthy immune system.
I know some people who actually develop warts and are not immunocompromised but only in rare cases will you see a case of oral warts.
Deep french kissing will transmit the virus, from what ive read.
If a person has Genital warts, it does not mean they have the virus in their mouth or any other location. The virus is usually just localized at one spot, unless transmitted through other means such as autoinoculation.
Hi Griever3000,
Thank you for your feeback.
Am i right to say that one will only get oral warts from rimming only when one immune system is really low? Such as HIV+ or terminally ill person? That's what I've read online.
Also do you get oral warts through french kissing? If that person is expose to genital warts? Do they transmit through that way?
if you havent had a breakout in years, the chances are you dont even have the virus anymore or its at a level where it cannot be transmitted.
Think about the chickenpox, you were contagious when you were having lesions all over your body right? Well, its the same for HPV, especially since you havent had an outbreak after so long. You should be good.
By the way, did you have oral warts?
I haven't had a breakout in years but if I do things like kiss my daughter can she get it?
Yes, you can receive oral warts from being exposed to genital warts.
However, it is kind of rare , it still does happen. When there is an active lesion, that wart carries a high viral load.
