Hello. Thank you for this forum. My husband recently passed away due to complications with lung cancer. We were only married 4.5 years. Unbeknownst to me, I gave him HPV (warts related). He was upset but very loving and we dealt with it. He was more worried about my having HPV than him as the cancer it can cause in women. When he was diagnosed with lung cancer we dealt with that bravely too. I promised him I would try to take care of my HPV and have been trying to eat foods that are good for one's immune system. Before he passed, we shared many things and more love than one might have in 35 years, but he also told me the chemo cleared away the warts ... and thus the virus(?). Anyway, my question is why do we not treat things that can be treated with chemo like HPV or was this just an anomoly? I predict an answer that states how hard chemo is on the body, etc. etc. but oh how hard it was on a body riddled with lung cancer. How much easier would it be on a healthier body which might be able to tolerate its effects. Thank you.
