PAINS FROM HPV?

My husband and I had sex one time w/o a condom, before I found out I had HPV. He claims he is in so much pain everyday, and now we are not intimate. He says it feels like someone is pressing a hot iron all over his penis. Could this pain he is having come from my HPV? It is tearing our world apart. How can the doctor help? He went to a clinic and that guy only printed a paper that gave him info that he already researched. I don't want to lose my husband. Please some insights? Any men out there that have HPV, will you tell me what it feels like for you?

Thanks! I just had a feeling that he would stop. Yet it is another day and he seems normal. Oh, boy. I can't wait to get him to a doctor to see what has been "paining" him. Which do you think would be best.... a Urologist or just to go to a Family Med doc????

ur hub is ridiculous and sounds like he has some mental problems!how long did u know him b4 u got married?what it means is that the HPV seems to have gone away on its own which sometimes it will and they want to re-check u in 6 months to see if it stays gone!

all they did is said they will schedule me in 6moth. I don't know what any of this means, and everytime I try to have them explain it, they throw in medical termonology, I don't understand any of it.  I just don't know what to do about my husband. He is going to ask me what having a normal pap means now, after being told I have HPV and I don't know how to explain it to him......
What do I say to my husband???? Any advise
Even last night He was complaining of penis pains.... that he hurt so bad, we don't even sleep in the same room anymore and I cry myself to sleep everyday because of this.

Thank YOU! That is exactly what I have been thinking. I have began to believe he is hypochondriac.... its driving me crazy. I think I have the high risk... I am not sure. I checked my med record, it said type 16, but the gyno said that it was closer to 16 than the others, but not quite at the type 16.  I don't want to lose my husband. We only have been married since January. He seems to be fine, but if we have sex, then one or two days later, he is angry and complaining of pains. He has no health insurance, and I cannot get him on mine until November, but I don't know how to get him to see pshyc doctor. He is a major health freak, and I think him finding this out has made him beleive that our lives are over.......     very depressed right now.

Oh please!i may sound rude here but he is acting like a drama king!does he have a concern for u with the HPV?i really doubt his pain is from HPV,sounds very psychosomatic.Drs.Hook and Handsfield in the Experts Forum-std's have addressed this b4 with other men who stated this.....they nicely worded it that they were hypochondriacal and or needed to go to a regular doctor to get a UTI rulled out.do u have warts?or high risk hpv?
