Hi, I would like to know if it is possible to caught oral HPV trough  a faryngoscope immediatly used after someone who has oral hpv. The object entered trough the nose and it lasted just some seconds. Thank you.

It is possible but no doctor or nurse would ever do that. The risks of spreading germs that can lead to a head cold makes this scenario not realistic. Doctors and dentists routinely sterilize their tools or they put covers on them and throw them out after one use.

There are cases of people infecting a straw or cigarette which are then shared by someone else. But like I said, doctors would never not use sterile equipment or a cover to make sure their equipment is safe for the next patient.

Thank you. But even if they don't sterilize and only pass some gel, do you think it's probable?

No one here can answer this question. What you suggest is usually not possible. Usually doctors put their scopes thru a sterilization process before using them on someone else.
