HPV led to gonnorehha

Hello everyone, im a 19 year old male, im not really sexually active with neither males or females.
i have had unprotected sex one time with this one guy, and after 6 months or so, i noticed that i have acquired genital warts around my anus area, they itch and they are really uncomfrtoale; i researched online its from the HPV virus and its really harmless but can be transmitted easily, and so i let it sit there, and after 2-3 months they dissapeard and now i dont have anything.

So last month, i began having sex again, this is about an year after my warts dissapeard, i had unprotected sex again with my best friend twice, and last night he called me saying that he has gonnorehha, because he noticed yellow fluid from his penis and also its hard for him to urinate. btw he was the giver.
and obviously he got it from me because im the only one he had sex with, but i was reading online and i heard there is no connection between HPV and gonnorehha; and i havent had any symptoms yet, or symptoms in the past of gonnareha, and its very rare to not have symptoms for a male.

so what do you think is the problem? he is going to get it checked today and get antibiotics probally.
i will probally get checked as well, but i want to know what couldve went wrong and hopefuly i wont have both of them together.

Hey thank you for that,
i have had one sexual experience also, and i havent had ANY symptoms whatesover of gonnareha in the past, all i had is anal warts.
but my friend has gotten it a month after out sex and hes only had sex with me, so im going to get that checked. i hope its that and not HIV because i would just kill myself.

and no i have had not had reaccurence of anal warts, mine are ALL gone, and i never dealt with them again and hopefully never will, but i will make sure i use condom after that. yeah i went to my normal lifestyle

I am a 22 y/o gay male and having one unprotected experience ever (I've only received anal intercourse a handful of times in full) led to me getting HPV from an ex.

You definitely need to go get checked.. while HPV is mostly harmless... STIs like chlamydia and gonorrhea can cause lots of complications if you don't get them treated.

If you didn't have symptoms of gonorrhea for the past year it is most likely because you didn't have it at all. It is more likely that your friend got it somewhere else. Not to worry you, but there is a risk you have now contracted it so definitely go get it checked. Trust me, once you get an STI check and you are told you are clear, it puts your mind to rest. Even if it isn't clear, its the first step to getting there - right?

Good luck.

PS: Have you had any recurrence of your anal warts? After about 3 months, mine are just about gone.. hoping I never have to deal with them again! Did you go about your life different (diet, exercise etc) or did you just live as normal and let them go..? Thanks

You need a full STD check up and an HIV test. Unprotected anal sex is very risky. Keep it safe and wear a condom.
