I have scoured the web for supplements to take to boost immune system for those specifically with HPV. (I haven't seen much change in the last 30 days)
Ester C
ImmunoShield (Vit C, E, Zinc, Selenium)
Apple Cider Vinegar (pills)
Omega-3 Fish Oil
Vit A & D
Garlic (odorless gel)
L-Lysine
Vit E
Echinacea Complex
Folic Acid
DIM (google this + HPV)
COQ10
Astragalus
Zinc
Olive Leaf Extract
Goldenseal Root
Reishi Mushroom
Green Tea Extract
Elderberry
Pau d'Arco
Indole 3-Carbinol (google this + HPV)
Red Marine Algae (google this + HPV)
Cats Claw
Tumeric
I've compiled this list from people who have HPV (oral and genital) and found certain supplements to be helpful and from various articles - scholarly and not so scholarly (Livestrong, and some articles written by doctors).
Why do you think condoms are 0% effective? That's a bit of a stretch, IMO.
As for immune system boosting, I agree but the medical industry doesn't see the wisdom in this. I do. I am improving mine via daily exercise, better diet, stopping or cutting down booze and taking loads of vitamins (A, B complex, C, D, E and Zinc, etc.).
I said kissing. It can not be spread through kissing. I said it can be passed through oral sex but that is rare in comparison to genital to genital contact. Yes it can be spread through rimming but I would class that under oral sex which as I said can be a way of spreading.
That's not true. HPV can be spread through oral sex (anal) such as rimming. The receipient of the oral sex may become infected by the person who is is giving the oral.
The HPV vaccine only protects you from 6/60 strains of HPV. Condoms offer 0% protection.
Increasing or improving your immune system should be one's primary focus, especially if you have HPV. Unfortunately, there is very little discussion on how to improve your immune system.
Thank you for that, still need my symptoms fully diagnosed as they only showed up this weekend just gone so need to make sure I haven't caught anything else.
It is not possible to pass HPV through kissing so don't worry about kissing your partner or your children, it is only passed through contact with infected genitals. It is possible through oral sex but very rarely.
Also it rarely poses any problem to pregnant women. Most women who have GW whilst pregnant face no problems when giving birth naturally.
