How contagious is genital warts

For the past 2 months I have been worried about an encounter that I've regretted more than anything in my life. Mainly concerned about herpes! Fast forward to now. Last week i finally found two very tiny bumps on my penis(1 on tues and one last sat.)8 weeks post encounter. I went to my dermatologist on both occasions and seen two different Drs. One didn't believe it was anything but used the liquid nitrogen on it and the next dr. Believed the second bump was possibly a wart and used the liquid nitrogen on it as well. They both seemed confident that it wasn't herpes but that thought still lingers in the back of my mind. My questions are if these were small warts, how contagious are they and can they come up in a day or so. I'm concerned because a month ago I had unprotected sex with my wife once and I'm scared to death that I could have possibly gave her something such as hpv or hsv. Thanks for your help.

I also forgot to mention that my wife was diagnosed with low risk HPV 5-6 years ago. Could these pissible warts be a the virus thAt I'm sure I had years ago too reactivating itself due to the tremendous stress and lowered immune system that I've had recently. Neither her not I had any visible symptoms when she was diagnosed years ago. Thanks again.
