High chances of transmission come from active (visible) warts. HPV can be present on all genital skin, visible or not visible. Men are getting anal warts without ever having anal sex performed on them. Initial reasons are using towels that a woman uses to wipe herself after sex or even just intimacy where people rub their legs and private parts together. You can never figure out why/how.
Your future wife may have already been exposed to it. Since you are under 26, you can still get the vaccine. It cannot hurt to get it now. Do not assume that you will be infectious forever or some day. 90-95% are never infectious again. But no one knows who is in this percentage. Avoid stress if you can as it aggravates the condition. De-stress, lead a healthy life, etc. Anything to boost your immune system (this is just a theory) and to fight the virus.
Thanks for your advice. I'm sure eating right and getting rid of the stress will be the best move. At the moment, dialing back the stress is easier said than done. I knew very little about the virus before, but I have been reading a lot trying to educate myself. I hope the more I know about it and as more time passes I will feel better about it. Thanks again for the support. It feels good to vent somewhere.
Also the Aldara treatment is very uncomfortable already! I hope it does not get worse. I don't plan to stop using it because I want it to do the job and help me.
