I think your over analyzing if u got the high risk one u can't do nothing about it so just make regular by monthly visits or every 3 months and check it out. No point to go crazy over it.
Huh? The low risk strains are harmless. The high risk strains are not.
Other HPV types have been linked with certain cancers. For example, infection with some types of HPV appears to be an important risk factor for penile cancer. HPV is found in about half of all penile cancers.

Anal warts
Anal warts (also known as condyloma acuminata) are caused by infection with certain types of HPV – usually different types from those most likely to cause anal cancer. While anal warts themselves are unlikely to develop into anal cancer, people who have had anal warts are more likely to get anal cancer. This is because people who are infected with the low-risk HPV subtypes that cause anal and genital warts are also more likely to be infected with high-risk HPV subtypes that cause anal cancer.

Who cares about hpv I mean other than woman? It's harmless as long as the woman gets paps regularly right?
The presence of warts increases the chances of infecting others. The absence of warts does not mean one isn't infectious. The 2-8 months it takes for warts to appear is a range. No one can tell what week/month, they will appear. Some people never get any genital warts and are still infectious. Some people never get genital warts and are not infectious. And some people have so many sex partners, that they cannot possibly know who infected them based on their sex lives. There isn't a definitive answer your question because people can get warts months/years after that unfortunate encounter. Or they may never get warts and if you are a man, you can't get tested for it. If you used a condom, there is a 50% of infection but not everyone gets infected.
