If I have anal warts, can my body still eventually "clear" the infection?I

I am currently being treated for anal warts, but once they are gone, is my body still able to clear up the infection? I read that 90% of HPV can be cleared through the body, so I was wondering if after the warts, my body would be able to do the same thing.

Thanks!

The virus never leaves the body. Clearance means you are not infectious, at this time. Which for you is when all of the anal warts are gone. No one knows if they will ever be infectious again or not. Most are not. Tiny traces of the virus clings to DNA.  This is why women can go from being positive to negative to positive again, without having sex after they get a procedure done to make them negative. All i can say is boost your immune system via healthy living, exercise, vitamins, less booze, no cigs, more sleep, less stress, etc. It will aid in the recovery as will latex condom use.
