Just Found Out

I just recieved a letter from my gyno, stating that I need to come in for a colposcopy, so I know that means I have HPV. I understand that it is something that is common, but how do I tell my boyfriend. I did cheat on him, once and there was a condom used, but me and my boyfriend have never used them. I see that it can be idle for a while but how do I even began to explain it to him, especially when I dont understand it myself?

They say that HPV can be silent for years and most people will never even know they have it.  The blame game does not work here, becaues there is absolutly NO way to tell who gave it to whom and when and where etc. etc.
I am in the same situation to an extent.  I JUST found out I have HPV and I don't know how to tell my new boyfriend.  There are so many misconceptions about HPV that I just don't think he will understand.  I found a lot of interesting and helpful information at this website: http://www.ashastd.org/hpv/hpv_learn.cfm
