My partner and I are a gay couple, monogamous, and have been together over 7 years. We have always had unprotected sex - we had HIV tests very early in the relationship, and both were negative, so we mutually consented to unprotected sex But about three years ago, my partner was diagnosed with HPV. Sorry, but I must be descriptive here...I have always been on he receiving end, sexually, and I have developed this irritation-like sensation inside my pelvic area - around the upper right pubic area. It is not painful, but I am aware of this sensation inside me that comes and goes. Sometimes it is stronger than other times, but pretty much always there. Since there is little info about HPV and men, gay men in particular, my question is this: is there the possibility that I have internal warts or lesions related to HPV in my colon/intestine? If so, what are the treatments? I have not had an HPV test myself, but plan to do so. But any information you have would be greatly appreciated!
