Oral Hpv

I think I have oral hpv, I have a growth on the side of my tongue and in the back of my tongue. The first time I mentioned this to two different doctors 5 months ago they said burnt toast could of caused an irritation and by using listerine I kept irritating it. I stopped using listerine and waiting for the side growth to go away. Then bumps in the back of my tongue developed 2 months after and I still have the growth on the side of my tongue. I am going to go to the doctor again soon, I work, go to school and volunteer so I hardly have anytime for myself. I am scared though, does this sound like oral hpv? I did perform oral sex on my ex that gave me genital warts in the first place. I stopped giving him oral sex when I found out he had hpv.

I would say I have a strong immune system because I rarely get sick. My tonsils were removed 12 years ago and ever since then I've barely had an issues with my throat or orally. I do not smoke and I drink a few times a month. I guess I am relating this to hpv because ever since I had abnormal cells, genital wart and mollescum that I got from my ex-boyfriend I've been nervous that I would get something orally as well. The bump on the side of my tongue developed in the summer and then the bumps in the back of my tongue developed a few months ago. I'll go to the doctor though soon, just wanted some input because I am worried and I guess I just think about it when I finally have time for myself.

I JUST realized u added a link relating to the same topic and thank you for that. I wonder if I can get mollescum in my mouth.. because maybe that could be it? Anyways I will stop self diagnosing myself and just go to the doctors. She did say come back if it did not go away in a few months. I bit my tongue a couple days ago and irritated with all these hot foods both temperature wise and spicy so when that heals I'll head to the doctors.
Thanks for your post.
