Penis Warts

Last two months ago i was diagnosed of wart in my penis, Infectious Disease Specialist advise me to remove it,

I remember last 11 years ago when i had UTI, Urologist inform me that i have warts in my penis and i ignored it and let the warts stay for almost 11 years.

Now i am so scared because of my penis some part of it is becoming white.

My question is the warts from 11 years ago (untreated) can cause a penile cancer?

Hello,
Earlier it was thought that HPV goes away after some time. But Scientists now think that the HPV infection that clears up on its own remains dormant in your body.  It can stay dormant or it can come back again.  Why it comes back isn't exactly known.

Blackening of skin is not the only symptom of penis cancer and can be due to hyperpigmentation skin or other treatable skin causes also.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
