HPV Transmission

Is it possible to get HPV without genital contact? Or is it possible to get HPV from a woman lightly rubbing her pubic hair area (maybe very edge of vaginal area but really just the public bione/pubic hair area) against your lower abdomen, just above the pubic area? Is there any rish from a person's penis lightly rubbing against a womans inside thigh, not really close to vagina?

What arethe general areas you can get HPV from and how vigirous does the contact have to be?

Thank you for your reply. I intend to consult my doctor, I do have what seems to be one isolated small wart-like growth on my testes. But I noticed it some time ago (so long I can't remember) and nothing has changed and no further wart like  marks anywhere near it. There was no contact within more than a year in the area with the small wart like growth. I didn't even think it could be HPV but recently thought it might. I will get examined - but should the HPV spread ordinarily or change in size (grow or becmes smaller) over this time frame?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Warts are tumours or growths of the skin caused by infection with Human Papillomavirus (HPV).They are contagious when in contact with the skin of an infected person. Even by light skin to skin touch, warts may get transmitted.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
