There isn't an hpv test for men unless they get warts. You can get tested at your next pap but it will only tell you if it's dormant or not. If you want to get more educated about hpv, read the dr's STD forum. Just search the archives for HPV. They are very informative. Basically they say most sexually active people have been exposed to HPV so it's extremely common. You basically have to never have had a sexual encounter to NOT have HPV. Even the dr's admit to being exposed to HPV.
You most likely have already been exposed to it anyway so don't worry about it. The fact that she had an abnormal pap-hpv related 1 month prior to sleeping with your husband would most likely mean your husband has it and if he has it, so do you. Keep up with your paps. It's extremely contagious and if you have sex with someone who has it, you will get it as well.
