Vinegar test

Does the vinegar test work for all warts?  I read on the net that it is mostly used for flat arts to make them easier to detect.  Anyone know?  ANy information would be great.

You should trust your doctor... Vinegar test has not been proven itself 100% in diagnoses because sometimes it turns your normal slightly raised skin into white but a doctor can have a good idea visualising the test outcomes... it is helpful to some extent... If your doctor suspect it as a wart, you should get it treated...

I had a raised bump on my penis which I suspected to be a wart.  Went ot the doc and he said yes. I had tried using vinegar a couple of times but nothing happened.  I soaked cotton and held it on for about 10 minutes the second time and still nothing.  Any ideas?
