WHat is going on

I have had geographical tongue for as long as i can remember.  About 3 weeks ago i went to the dentist for a cleaning, which was really painful.  The next day I noticed bumps at the back of my tongue and closer to the tip.  Im not sure if they are bumps or warts.  Some are big and some are small and i can move them with my finger.  They are the same color as my tongue and they dont hurt. Could this be oral HPV...im really scared.

I also have a geographical tongue and get the spots that you are talking about. It has nothing to do with HPV at all. It is just your taste buds becoming enlarged. They will go away on their own. I also get them when I have had something too hot to drink or eat. Just be careful and don't eat or drink anything too hot or too acidic. Use Listerine to kill the extra bacteria also.

What does having a geographical tongue have to do with hpv and warts?

What makes you think it is hpv at all? Have you gone down on a girl or a guy?
