Wart or cyst and recent oral sex

I noticed a small (less than bb size) lump on my penis. It is usually whitish to skin colored. It appears to move when placed between thumb and forefinger. Much like popping a rubber band. It seems to be getting a little harder. A few days ago my GP looked at it for a few minutes and told me that I had a wart. He wrote a script for Podofilox. I havent started the cycle yet as I have been vomiting for the last two days, either from anxiety or some bad food. I am 63 years old male and sexually active. I had a oral sex performed on me about 2 months ago from a "masseuse". No other sexual contact. I realize that I likely have the HPV virus. Should I tell my girlfriend to stay home (she is flying to see me)? Or should I just tell her that I was treated for warts on my penis? I am distraught over this. Is it possible that this is just a cyst?

I am 63 years old and I feel that my life is now over.

All kind words accepted. -bill

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Diagnosis of genital warts is usually clinical, made by visual inspection. Genital warts can be confirmed by biopsy but Sometimes we can use an enhancing technique called acetowhitening. This technique involves the application of 5% acetic acid solution to the area of suspicion for about 5-10 minutes. Infected areas will turn white.
There is currently no FDA-approved test to detect HPV in men. Genital warts can be diagnosed through visual examination of the penis and surrounding areas.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
