Does HPV go away after successful Chemo & Rad treatment for cervical cancer

In 2010 I had an irregular pap than showed early stage HPV and I was given an antibiotic and told to come back in 6 months for a follow up Pap ...which I did and was told my pap was normal ...so I assumed I fought it off and didn't have it anymore.  However, in 2013 I was told I had stage 3.5 cervical cancer from HPV.  So I went through Chemo and Radiation and so far the cancer hasn't come back but does that mean that I dont have HPV anymore at all and if not then if I have unprotected sex with the same partner that gave it to me then can i likely get it again or does the body build an immunity to it once gotten rid of?
