Warts?

Posted here yesterday but received no response so I'll try again!

First question. Do all strains of LOW risk hpv cause warts? Or only some?

second. I noticed a tiny (maybe 1mm ) bump on my outer labia. It does have a hair follicle within it. It's not razor burn, because it's been around for months. It's never grown or spread. For all I know it's scar tissue from cutting myself, as I do that often.  I also have two "bumps" around the rectal area. They are smooth and sort of "dangle" from the skin. They're the same color as the surrounding skin, same texture and most certainly resemble skin tags (as I have had them on other body parts). Again, they're incredibly tiny and I normally never would have noticed them. No idea how long they've been there. Could be my whole life.  As for the one on my labia goes, I've been to the gyno since it showed up and she didn't say anything (and I didn't ask about it because I literally thought nothing of it. I get tiny bumps on my body here and there).

Just wondering your opinions. Skin tags seem strange in that area. Not sure If warts can sometimes resemble skin tags. I'll ask my gyno at my next appt, but haven't felt the need to rush, as nothing has changed or spread.  HOWEVER, I did do the vinegar test and the skin tag type things did lighten in color a bit. I'm not sure if it had to do w the skin being damaged because I had been pulling on them (bad, I know).  I've seen the docs all say that the vinegar test is inaccurate bc many bumps that are not warts will also turn white. Any idea what kind?

I'm trying to figure out how to select "best answer", but I don't see the option...

All low-risk strains have the potential to cause warts.  Some people will show then and others will not.  Some stats say more people don't show than do but I am not too up on that stuff.

Yes, forget about the vinegar test for the reasons you said.  I don't know what kind of bumps can be confused.

In general, the only advice you can be given on a forum is to go see your doctor or a dermatologist if you have a suspicion to clear up concerning HPV.  There is no other way to know.  What you describe could be warts or could not be.  There is just no way to know.
