Worried about potential warts/hpv virus, please read. I know you get a lot of these.

I had been sexually active 6 weeks ago, and the condom broke at one point.  I noticed a small, circular, dark red/purple growth forming on my penis shaft (very small) with a small dot of the same color right next to it.  It grew at a very slow pace (still small though), till this weekend I tried to pop it, which it did not.  It bled a little bit, and eventually scabbed over.  I saw my doctor on Monday, who at first said it didn't look like an STD, but then said "well, it could be a little wart...go see the urologist."

Picked at it a little more (I know I shouldve just left it alone) and the scab came off.  Thursday I went to Urologist, but by this point there wasn't much to look at, just a healing scab.  He took a look at it and said "I wouldn't worry about it anymore, probably was just a cyst or ingrown hair."  Felt relieved, went home, went to bed...got up, and now that "small dot next to it" I talked about originally looks like its formin into the same thing as the original little growth.

I called the urologist today, and he had the nurse call me back, and said that "probably nothing, come back and see me in a month" (which I originally schedule that appointment for from the first time)

My questions are:

1.  If this was a genital wart, would the first one disappear as easy as it did? (it's basically healed over right now on Friday, and It was there Monday).  Shouldn't warts be a little harder to get rid of than I describe?

2.  If it was a cyst or ingrown hair, what are the chances of two of them popping up one after the other in the same area like that?  Sounds a little suspicious to me

I appreciate it, thanks

1) If you picked the wart and it fell off, then it would of gone straight away and bled. Simple as that. It would of been unlikely for it to scab over though.

2) An ingrown hair can pop up by itself or with more than one. That isn't usual or unusual. Genital warts usually pop up with more than one, it's unlikely to pop up one by itself.

You have seen two people regarding your the area and both both dont seem to think it is a wart. A proper examination is the best view point with determining if a wart is a wart or not.

Roughly with your questions,
1) The fact you just picked at the wart, usually doesnt get rid of them but i am unsure of this but i would of thought it would take more than that to rid you of it even if it is new'
2) Genital warts can pop up around another one in clusters or by themselves.

I would stick to seeing the doctors and have them send of to have it send to check if it is or not for sure.
