Question about HPV transmission from scrotum

Hi there! This has been bothering me for quite a while now, I had genital warts and have the HPV virus and my boyfriend (of over a year) hasn't been checked but we both figure he has the virus but has never gotten genital warts.

I do not perform unprotected oral sex however I do have an issue with mouth to scrotum. Though he doesn't have genital warts I worry about getting oral HPV on my mouth from his scrotum. Is this something I should be worried about?

Jeez, don't listen to Drifter. Read what the Doctors Forum says. Oral sex is a less risky way of transmission and oral HPV is not as prevelant as the media makes us think it is. Yes, he probably has what you have. Just ask your dentist to keep checking your mouth every time you go. Do realize that if you smoke cigs or drink alcohol, oral cancer is a risk.
