lost n confused...

hi im new 2 this but here goes...I was diagnose wit hpv i'll say about 4yrs ago n later i recieved LEEP surgery but neva got any updates or results after the surgery does that mean they removed it n im free from hpv???

you need to have a yearly PAP to mak sure that there is no abnormal cell changes AND a HPV test to see if your body has "cleared" the virus..you can have a normal PAP and STILL have an active virus in your body..so you need to check both... I would also find out/get a copy of your medical chart from your previous docs..you need to know what they found/did/etc...important to know what was going on w/ your body

as sarah said you will need to have your regular checks and pap tests done if it comes back normal then looks like your in the clear :O)

likely yes, but it would be best to have your yearly pap done to stay in the free and clear.
