If you are still displaying warts, then you are still infectious. But if the person you are touching is already infected with your strain of the virus, then you should be good to go.

If you and your partner have the same strain of HPV, I don't think it has any affect on you getting more warts from your partner. If you and your partner have had the same strain for a significant period of time, you will both just clear the virus anyway. You can't keep giving her the virus, and then in turn, she gives you the virus. There is no ping-pong effect. You two will share the virus, and in time, you will both clear it.
well hpv actually goes away after 3 years.. i have hpv and told my boyfriend now that i have it but he doesnt seem to understand that it's warts or anything. He thinks it just means that i have more chances to getting cervical cancer.. but i dont really break out with warts at all and every blue moon he pops up with a really small red bump that goes away after like a day.. i wouldnt worry too much. We have sex like EVERY day!
