genital warts

My husband was diagnosted with genital warts in the anal area. He states he never had anal sex. Is it posible that he contracted it in any other fashion?
How big is my risk to get it? Can I get it from him thru vaginal sex?

genital warts in the anal area do not have to come from anal sex..they are sexually transmitted by genital contact and can appear on the penis buttocks around the penis etc....u can get it from him easy.. low risk hpv is a skin virus....yes u can get it from him thru vaginal sex.....u can get these warts inside ur vagina and up in ur vaginal walls as well.

are you sure that he can spread it through vaginal sex even though he only has warts on his anal area? because the virus is only on his anal area and not his penis.
