If 2 doctors did not say it was a wart, it isn't and a third opinion is not needed. I think you need some therapy. A priest or rabbi would help too. Someone to talk you out of your fears. You can't walk around thinking you have it when you have not been diagnosed with it. People who are sexually active with multiple partners should not think they are immune to STDs. But they can't stress out from their sex lives too. Since men cannot be tested, unless you have a wart, you can assume that you are not infected even thought statistically most people who are sexually active are. Please get this out of your head and get some therapy if you need help.

Thanks so much for your help.

I don't want to be a pain in the butt , however, a quick update,

I saw two doctors they say it does not look like a wart. Should I get a third opinion? It still there...

Last question. If my last contact was a year ago and I assume this are not warts, am I on the clear or could they show later? If so, when do you think I will be om the clear? I know it van take years but average is like 6-12 months? Am I almost out? When could I get this out of my head?

The 3-24 months recovery clock starts from wart removal not from the date of infection. But you don't know if it is a wart. There is no ping-pong of this virus. Should either of you be diagnosed with it, you two cannot re-infect each other. Women can get tested and she should consider getting tested as often as her insurance allows.

There is no cure for HPV. Anything online that says they cure it is not FDA approved as a cure. Should you want a second opinion, go see a dermatologist. Warts come in many different shapes, colors and sizes. The only true way to know is removal and biopsy. If the pimple does not go away after a month or two, a second opinion cannot hurt. Until you get a positive diagnosis by a doctor, you should not think you have it.

Boosting an immune system to recover from HPV is not recommended by doctors. In other words, there are few published studies that proves recovery happens by boosting one's immune system. However, some of us believe that it does. I am not a doctor and I cannot recommend anything but I feel like what I took and what I did has helped me recover. There are studies linking cigarette smoking to more warts but I never smoked. But I did a lot of drinking and partying late at night. I ate junk food and rarely exercised. I was not living a healthy life.

Basically, I take vitamins A, C (Bioflavonoid), E, ZInc, Folic Acid, etc. Lots of them but any vitamin intake should be discussed with your PCP first. When I talked to my PCP, he said we get enough vitamins from healthy food and he can't recommend vitamins or supplements yet I believe they helped me. Clearance does not mean anyone is not HPV positive. It just means you aren't infectious anymore with no visible warts and that is good enough.

Do you recommend me to take something to boost my immune system and avoid warts to appear and HPV to be cleared?

Just saw a Dr from an STD clinic, she said it looked nothing like a wart, should I look for a second opinion?

Last question I promise.

Is it true that HPV is cleared at 2 years max? If so, say its been 1.5
years since I caught it and I get warts now, would I have it for only 6 months since it will clear at 2 years? Or the 2 years clock starts when the wary appears?

In terms of me and my wife, if we are both infected would the infection ping-pong ? If say I cleared but my wife didn't will I have it back and it will be coming the rest of our lives?

Most dermatologists can tell by sight since they see so many. But you can get different opinions from different doctors. Only a biopsy is 100% accurate. No, a pimple would not react different to freezing it off. Both would come off and both would leave a small spot where it was until the skin can heal. Either you trust a visible diagnosis or you don't and you insist that a biopsy be done. And if you ask for a biopsy, also ask for identification of the strain too. Good luck!

Great answers. My Mt question tho is, if doctor is not sure only by examination. No biopsy can be taken. How can I know 100% sure I'd its or its not a wart?

Question is, if they freeze a pimple (acne) would it react different than a wart?

The vinegar test is not reliable and should not be used. Freezing it off or removing it off via creams or slicing it off via surgery are methods used to remove genital warts. 90% of all infected people who have visible symptoms (not everyone who has HPV gets warts) clear the virus and have no more symptoms after 3-24 months. No one knows who is or isn't in this 90%.

For some clearance can take as little as 3 months. For some it can take as long as 24 months. After the last wart is gone, start the "clock" and hope that none return in 3-24 months. Assume you are "cleared" after 3-6 months (if that makes you feel better) but never assume you may not one day (could be 30 years from now) be infectious. It is very rare to be infectious again but not impossible. Most doctors believe that the virus never leaves the body. The term "clearance" means that you are not infectious. There is some correlation to unhealthy things like cigarette smoking, alcohol consumption, bad diets, stress, insufficient rest, no exercise, multiple sex partners, unsafe sex, 420 use, etc. There just aren't precise answers to your questions. And should you one day get a new wart, it will be impossible to tell if it is from a recent sex encounter or one from years ago although the odds are better it is recent. Men can't be tested for it and you won't really ever know if you are infectious again or not.

If your wart is removed and biopsied, find out the strain. If you do learn the strain, it only pertains to the wart that was tested. Most sexually active people have mutiple strains. Since men cannot be tested via blood or urine, it is impossible to tell if you have other strains on other genital skin areas (buttocks, thighs, scrotum, etc) without scraping off skin everywhere which no doctor will do.

Sorry that so much is un-clear about this virus. For most people it does not lead to cancer and is just a nuisance. This is why the CDC says that the only safe sex is no sex. :(

Last one, what's the latest a watt can show up? I've read 2 years or even but I also read HPV is cleared out of the system in about two years?  Do warts show up AFTER HPV is being cleared?

Thanks

Other than visual examination and in case of doubt how can I rule warts out?

Would it change its appearance within a week? Is the vinegar test reliable? Finally, if I decide to freeze it would it behave different than the regular pimple?

Thanks so much.

Only a medical doctor can determine if it is a wart or something else. The base of a penis is not covered by condoms and so would not be surprised that men are getting growths there.
